Miyazakigyu Wagyu beef comes from the Miyazaki Prefecture on southern Japan’s Kyushu Island. The Miyazakigyu Wagyu top sirloin steak medallion (A5) is a versatile and flavorful cut from the sirloin primal, right below the tenderloin. Medallion refers to the size, shape, and mainly the location where the cut is taken from. The top sirloin steak medallion is a naturally lean, thick cut (approximately 2 1/2 to 3 inches thick) with a bold, beefy flavor. This popular steak is delicious on its own, perfect for adding flavor to your favorite recipes, and great with marinades and sauces! Grilling, pan-frying, and roasting are ideal for cooking top sirloin medallions. When cooked to a rare or medium-rare finish, this steak is tender and juicy!

The Miyazakigyu Wagyu top sirloin steak medallion is great for grilling, pan-frying, and roasting. We recommend sprinkling the steak with a little salt and pepper before placing the beef in a hot pan with a little oil. Sear the top sirloin medallion for a few minutes on each side, until the steak is a rich brown color. Finish the medallion in a preheated oven, and use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. Cook to desired doneness.

Orders placed after 3:00PM EST will ship the next eligible business day. We do not ship on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and orders cannot be delivered on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

PACKAGING: Each frozen and individually vacuum sealed product is carefully packed with dry ice and/or gel packs. Orders will be delivered frozen or slightly thawed (but still cold) depending on the time in transit.
