Fullblood Wagyu Tri Tip

Description
Packed with flavor, tender, and relatively lean, the Fullblood Wagyu tri-tip is cut from the bottom of the sirloin primal. A large boneless cut with extensive marbling, it’s perfect for oven-roasting or grilling. It can be prepared with just a dash of salt, a spice-rib, or delicious marinade. The tri-tip makes a palate-pleasing steak, and it’s an optimal cut for salads, sandwiches, fajitas, and more! After the Fullblood tri-tip is cooked, be sure to cut it against the grain for the perfect melt-in-your-mouth finish!

The tri-tip can be grilled or roasted to achieve a tender medium-rare finish.  A dash of kosher salt and fresh ground pepper pair well with the tri-tip, but rubbing the meat with fresh herbs or marinating it before grilling also makes for a delectable dish!

Rare - 120°-125°
Medium Rare - 130°-135°
Medium - 140°-145°
Medium Well - 150°-155°
Well Done - 160° and above

    Outstanding

    My brother and I cooked this over charcoal for our first tri tip experience. The results were phenomenal. Well-marbled, tender, and flavorful. Will absolutely order again.

    Best taste and quality tri tip

    We purchased 2 Wagyu tri tips for a local competition. The quality was second to none and the taste, tenderness and size where absolutely amazing. We don’t usually compete with tri tips as we usually compete on the KCBS pro circuit. Above the quality of the meat, the customer service was also second to none. One the tri tips had to be deliver at another time due to low stock of product. They promised to have the tri tip delivered before completion and they delivered, also with a special thank you of Wagyu sausage. We love and will continue to do business with Double 8.

    Great Tri-Tip

    Cooked the a section of the Wagyu tri-tip side by side with choice tri-tip from local grocery. Followed the method of Adrenaline Barbecue Company YouTube. As expected, the Wagyu was more juicy and tender. But, the flavor difference was fantastic. It was the most flavorful beef roast I've ever bbq'ed. Will definitely order again.
