Long and narrow, the Fullblood Wagyu beef hanger steak is packed with flavor! From the plate section and a muscle that helps support the diaphragm, the hanger steak is extremely tender and juicy. It is also known as the “Butcher’s Steak.”

The hanger steak’s rich flavor is best highlighted when the cut is grilled or sautéed. Due to the texture and grain, we recommend a medium-rare or medium doneness when preparing the hanger steak. Slice against the grain before serving, and this steak rivals the ribeye in terms of taste and tenderness!

Rare - 120°-125°
Medium Rare - 130°-135°
Medium - 140°-145°
Medium Well - 150°-155°
Well Done - 160° and above

    Incredible Steaks

    Read and article about Hanger Steaks and was anxious to try them. Not disappointed at all. Super tasteful - mouth watering flavor. You can't go wrong with these steaks.

    Hanger steak

    Smoked and reverse seared steak and it was fabulous.Just like a fillet with great marbling.Can’t wait to try the next one!

    Very nice cut

    An excellent cut which I would have rated as about an A-3. Sous vide at 134 for just shy of 3 hours. Cast iron finish at about 650. Perfect steaks for four. Still have flat iron in the freezer can not wait. Excellent meat.
