PAN-BROIL / SKILLET:Preheat a large fry pan or cast iron skillet on high. You want the pan/skillet to be DRY and HOT. Once hot, place slider patties on the surface and let them develop a nice sear. Do not push down on the sliders with a spatula. Again cook for 3-5 minutes per side, gently flipping only once. Once cooked to desired doneness, remove sliders from pan/skillet and allow them to rest for about 5 minutes.
GRILL:Preheat to highest temp. Avoid placing the slider patties over direct flames/hot coals. The intramuscular fat will melt and drip during cooking, causing smokey flare-ups. Pushing down on the sliders with a spatula will also cause flare-ups. Cook 3-5 minutes per side, flipping only once, or to your desired doneness. Remove patties from grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
BROIL:Move oven rack to top placement. Preheat broiler to highest setting. Make sure to use a broiling pan or sheet tray with lip. Place slider patties on broiling pan and place pan on you top oven rack. Broil 3-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove from oven and let sit for about 5 minutes.

Double 8 Cattle Company is one of only a handful of farms raising 100% Fullblood Wagyu in the United States. 100% Fullblood Wagyu differ from most Wagyu being raised in the States, which often fall into the categories of Crossbred (F1, F2, F3) or Purebred (F4). The term "American Wagyu" has been adopted as marketing term for Wagyu beef that is Crossbred or Purebred Wagyu.
At Double 8 Cattle Company, we only raise 100% Fullblood Japanese Black Wagyu. Our cattle are direct descendants of Japanese Wagyu with unmixed ancestry. They are certified and registered with the American Wagyu Association, and their DNA can traced to their original ancestors in Japan. Our Wagyu have never been crossbred with other cattle breeds, such as Angus.
Let me start by saying I am NOT a beef eater. While I occasionally enjoy a good steak, my diet primarily consists of poultry and seafood. So, I was hosting a slider bar for Independence Day and stumbled upon Cattle 8 when searching for premade sliders. To my delight, I received my order within 48 hours (still frozen). As the burgers would be used in the next 2 days, I left them in the packaging with the dry ice. On the day I was to use the burgers I opened the package, and the burgers were thawed, but good and cold - just as I wanted. My brother fired up the grill and she'd me for some nonstick spray and seasoning- I had neither (did I tell you I'm not a beef eater)! He warned the burgers would be bland, and proceeded to put them on the grill. About 6-7 minutes later he came running up and said you have GOT to be try this. It was one of the burger patties. It was the juiciest, most flavorful burger I'd ever tasted - and it hasn't been seasoned. True story: Everyone at the gathering ate breadless burgers. Oh they added toppings, but no bread! I will DEFINITELY be ordering more sliders and will even try my hand at a steak in the very near future! Thank you SO much for offering such a fantastic product!!
