Refund and Return Policy

RETURNS

Due to the nature of our product, we are unable to accept returns.  If you feel the product you received is damaged or defective, please report the issue to Double 8 Cattle Company immediately upon receipt of your order. 

Damage reports submitted more than 8 hours following delivery will automatically be redirected to the shipper (i.e., FedEx or UPS) for claim submission and consideration.

 

REPORTING AN ISSUE

Please email info@double8cattle.com with the following information as soon as you unpack the shipment.

  • Description of the issue and/or damage
  • Photos of damaged item and item label
  • Photos showing the condition of the top and the bottom of the box it arrived in
  • Photos showing the condition of the internal liners and packaging

Please also let us know if you are able to consume the item in question or if the damage will require the product to be discarded. The information and photos you provide are extremely helpful. They allow us to visually assess the damage, provide feedback, and continually improve our service.

We will be happy to review your report, photos, and any information provided in order to provide an appropriate resolution. If needed, we may request additional information or photos from you in order to complete our review.

 

REFUNDS

Once a customer submits their order, it is immediately processed and forwarded to our production/shipping facility. The items ordered are taken out of inventory, and the delivery process commences. Due to how we process orders and circumstances beyond our control, refunds will NOT be provided:

  • If a customer changes his or her mind after an order has been placed and decides they no longer want the submitted order.
  • If a customer selects a delivery method that does not correspond with his or her preferred delivery date.
  • If an order is rendered undeliverable due to reasons beyond our control, including but not limited to:
    • The customer providing an incomplete or incorrect mailing address.
    • The recipient being unavailable/not present to receive the package(s).
  • If an order is delivered and the shipper (i.e., FedEx or UPS) provides proof of delivery, but the package is lost or presumed stolen after delivery.

If you place an order and provide an incorrect mailing address, we may be able to ship the order to an alternative address if we are contacted immediately. However, we may be unavailable or unable to accommodate address changes. We will not provide refunds on orders where the customer has entered/submitted an incorrect or incomplete address.

We are not responsible for packages that are lost or presumed stolen after they’ve been delivered. If the shipper (i.e., FedEx or UPS) delivers your package and it is subsequently lost or presumed stolen, that is out of our control. We highly recommend that the recipient be present to receive his or her package(s).

    We do NOT issue a refund or product(s) replacement:

    • If a delivery/shipment is refused by the recipient.
    • If a delivery/shipment is returned to Double 8 Cattle Company without authorization.
    • If delays and/or delivery problems are specifically caused by the shipper (i.e., FedEx or UPS). If this occurs, direct all claims to the shipping company. 
    • Delivery is delayed or affected by weather and/or acts of God.
    • Products are improperly stored/handled after being successfully delivered.

    PLEASE NOTE: If a refund is issued, the customer will only receive a refund for the Fullblood Wagyu beef product(s). The customer will not receive a refund for the original shipping cost.

     

    ORDER CANCELLATION CONDITIONS AND FEES

    If your order has already been packed or shipped, we are unable to cancel or refund your order.

    Online Gift Cards are delivered instantly after being purchased and cannot be cancelled or refunded. 

    If we are able to cancel an order, we charge 3% of the total order amount as a cancellation fee.

    For cancellations involving a Pre-Ordered item(s), we charge 15% of the total order amount as a restocking fee.
