Description
Monumental in size and flavor, the Fullblood Wagyu beef tomahawk steak (sometimes referred to as "cowboy steak") is cut of beef ribeye with the rib bone left in. Hand cut with bountiful marbling, this hardy and juicy steak will leave a lasting impression, and it will most likely leave you full! Though its size may look “tough”, the tomahawk is tender and will melt in your mouth.

Due to the thickness of the cut, we recommend using a thermometer when cooking to ensure that the internal temperature of the steak reaches 130 degrees.

    Full blood Wagyu

    These are the best combination of meat vs. marbling. Customer service is outstanding and I’d like to especially call out June for her tremendous knowledge and courteous interactions. This is by far the best steaks I’ve eaten. Customer for life.

    What a way to celebrate!!!

    If you like steak or are a foodie like myself, you will absolutely love this steak! When it comes to cuts of steak, tomahawks/cowboys rain supreme. One look and bite of this steak and you will see why! I don’t mind spending money on quality and it’s worth every penny. Double 8 cattle is convenient, friendly, has fast shipping, offers a top shelf quality product, and their care/packaging/cards makes it feel like white glove service!!! My whole family is getting hooked! Try one for yourself and you will be a customer for life. Double 8 makes you feel like a valued customer, from order to delivery, which rarely exists anymore. They really know how to impress!

    Overall a great steak with great marbling and pretty good tenderness

    Overall this is a beautiful cut. Looked as good in person as it did online. While this is certainly no A5 grade it is a lot of quality meat that is fun to grill due to the unique size and cut. Taste was good, appearance was great and tenderness was above average. We enjoyed it.

    Luck of the Draw

    I had been wanting to try some Wagyu from D8 for a while so I pulled the trigger on this fine looking piece of beef. Well the pic looks great mine was no where close to that. Marbling was no better than a piece of choice beef from the local market. I was not expecting A5 but something better than this for the money. Flavor was good but I think I will stick with Japanese A5 for the same money from here.

    Steak for a King

    How can words express what my experience is with this beautifully crafted cut of primal meat. It’s breathtaking. It’s a whole new world of balance opened up to the one receptive to perceive it as a craft. Those of us who choose to open ourselves to such a unique choice of primal experience will enjoy each bite as a cosmic explosion of flavor and seduction. Only the experienced and the bold will explore a path to their creative sides. Get some Sel Gris and taste the complexity of it’s acids. The fat in this steak is next to noneX enjoy your experiences and let everyone know. It’s a steak like no other and it’s at the tip of my fingers.
