FIRST STEP
Take the Fullblood Wagyu sirloin tip steak out of the freezer, and place it in the refrigerator 24 hours before starting this recipe.
PREPARING THE MARINADE
Trim the Wagyu sirloin tip steak of any excess fat (optional step).
Place the Wagyu steak in a gallon-size Ziploc bag.
Combine the beef stock, soy sauce, minced garlic, diced green onions, and bourbon in a mixing bowl. Mix until combined.
Then, pour the mixture into the Ziploc bag with the Wagyu steak.
Seal the bag, and refrigerate for 2-4 hours, allowing the steak to marinate.
PREPARING THE WAGYU STEAK
Once the Wagyu sirloin tip steak is done marinating, take it out of the bag, and pat it dry.
Generously apply the steak rub over both sides of the Wagyu steak, and set it aside.
Place a cast iron skillet over high-heat, and add the olive oil.
Once the oil begins to smoke, firmly place the Wagyu steak in the skillet.
Allow the steak to cook for 5-7 minutes. Then flip the steak, and cook for another 5-7 minutes on the other side.
Once the Wagyu steak’s internal temperature registers 130°F, take it out of the skillet, and set it aside.
FINAL STEPS
Allow the cooked Wagyu sirloin tip steak to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Then, slice, and serve with your favorite sides.
Enjoy!
